Investor Relations (IR)

Depending on your requirements, we can provide you with a wide range of IR & communications advisory and projectbased services. In advising you on this, we not only ensure your compliance with reporting rules, but also with meeting investors’ and analysts’ demand for clear, consistent and frequent disclosure of key information and engagement. This implies that we shall strongly advise you to engage with the investor community outside the results.

Our services include:

1. IR & investor communications strategy and program development 

  • whether you need us to set-up your IR department, or help you to bring structure to your IR & financial communications initiatives, Value@Stake will deliver a strategy that supports your business goals.   

2. Drafting or reviewing your results strategy and materials, such as: 

  • results, trading update, AGM RNS/press releases 
  • advice on outlook 
  • presentations (and dry-runs ahead of presenting)  
  • script, messaging, Q&A document, factsheet (including for media and internal use) 
  • briefings ahead of investor / analyst meetings  
  • review press release distribution list 
  • managing your investor and / or analyst enquiries (or guidance on outgoing response) 
  • attending or leading investor and / or analyst meetings

  • review and distribution of analyst research to the Board, consensus maintenance, financial modeling. 

 3. Building relationships with investors and analyst 

  • proposing strategies for institutional investors, analysts and / or private, retail investors 
  • working alongside your broker(s) / ECM advisor to attract other targets than the ones that they already have relationships with, such as buy side analysts and fund managers 
  • proposing conferences and other events in addition to brokers’ conferences 
  • targeting relevant analysts, establishing and maintaining relationships with them. 

 

4. Supporting your IR programme with a pro-active, selective financial media campaign 

  • developing relationships with selective journalists on your behalf and act as the company’s spokesperson to the media 
  • drafting the explanation of the external communication programme to internal teams 
  • preparing the leadership team for presentations, interviews, issues etc 
  • monitoring media publications. 

 5. Additional investor communication advice and materials: 

  • equity story and strategy development  
  • help members of the Board, senior management with articulating the growth story in a consistent way across the entire organization to multiple stakeholders 
  • draft or review introductory investor presentation 
  • collecting investor feedback 
  • manage or execute a perception study (to be executed by an independent third party).    

 6. Capital Markets Day 

  • advice on timing, format, suppliers, logistics, invitees and drafting or reviewing of content (presentation, messaging, Q&A, etc) 
  • coaching or training (rehearsals) of leadership team by Charles Groenhuijsen) 
  • collecting feedback

7. Digital communications & media

  • advice on (digital) content on IR website, rest of the website and possibly other company websites, social channels and email-newsletters. 

8. Annual report 

  • write, edit content, such as strategy, investment case and case study pages  
  • proofread and audit for consistency of content and data 
  • project management, including calls with auditor 
  • consult for annual report production agency  
  • advice on how to re-package content and visuals for other channels, such as the website 

 9. Media training 

  • preparation is everything: Value@Stake has the expertise to prepare you, whether you face a Bloomberg interview or need to present for a room full of investors.
